What’s Coming Up: Save the dates!

April 13, 12-2 p.m. – C-Council will be holding their monthly meeting on Mac Campus. All C-classification members at Mac are welcome to join us!

April 15, 12-1 p.m., Birks Heritage Chapel, 3520 University:  Memorial service for our dear friend and colleague, Steve Millier, who worked at the Islamic Studies Library as a reference assistant and cataloguer for 30 years, and passed away last September. Reception following. All are welcome.

April 19, 5 p.m., Arts West-215, 853 Sherbooke West (bet. Leacock and Arts buildings) – Representatives from the $15 and Justice Campaign will speak at McGill about the need to raise the minimum wage for all workers in Québec! Members of $15 and Fairness–McGill, and the Fight for $15 (Immigrant Workers Centre) will talk about the importance of a living wage, mandatory sick leave, paid vacation days, basic labour protections, and access to social services regardless of immigration status. Free dinner served by Midnight Kitchen. Event is organized by MUNACA Social Justice Committee and the AMUSE Equity Committee.
