Proposed By-Laws have been drafted for the new MUNACA-AMUSE union: Come to a Member Information Session to ask questions, propose your ideas and give us your feedback. The new by-laws will be presented to both unions’ membership for vote and approval at a meeting to be announced.

November 25, 5:30 p.m., Leacock 109 – Come hear about the work of the Women’s Committee of the Temporary Agency Workers Association (TAWA) in Montréal. TAWA fights for immigrant workers getting respect, equality and security from the temp agencies and subcontractors that employ them. The Women’s Committee of TAWA does labour-rights and leadership-development workshops for female factory workers. This event will be a great opportunity to learn more about the struggles of immigrant working women in Montréal and how they organize together for workplace justice.
