What’s been happening …

June 8 – On this day, 83% of McGill’s postdocs chose to unionize; they are now members of the Association of McGill Research Employees (AMURE), which is affiliated with Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC). The postdocs are now preparing to negotiate their first collective agreement.

June 18 – Hundreds of members chowed down on burgers and hot dogs at the annual Spring Barbeque. Again MUNACA partnered with sister union AMUSE to feed the horde of the hungry, and the weather managed to cooperate as well! Here are some of the many members who came to partake in the feast:
